Comic localization, security-first

Own your localized comics.

Translate and re-typeset your webcomics into dozens of languages, and keep the clean, high-resolution files you fully own. Your art never leaves your device.

The same page, re-lettered.

Spanish runs about a quarter longer than English. Every line is re-wrapped and re-sized to sit inside the bubble that already exists — the artwork underneath is never redrawn.

English — original
Two comic panels in English. An older witch says “But Pepper… Come back…”, and Pepper shouts “No! I'm leaving!!”
Español — typeset by Yomi
The same two panels with Spanish lettering. The witch says “Pero Pepper… Vuelve…” and Pepper shouts “¡No! ¡¡Me voy!!”

From a page of English to a page you can publish.

  1. Add your pages

Drop in PNGs, JPEGs, or a ZIP of a whole chapter. They're saved to your own device first, and encrypted before any of it travels.

  2. Translate, then edit

Yomi finds each bubble, translates the page as a whole so voice and pronouns stay consistent, and fits the new text to the art. You correct anything you like in an editor.

  3. Download and keep

Full resolution, no watermark, no platform lock-in. The finished pages come straight back to your device, and the originals never left it.

Every line stays yours to change.

The translation is a starting point. Edit any bubble in place, move or redraw a text box, switch fonts, then render the page and download it.

Lettering is part of your style, so feel free to bring your own. Upload a font and Yomi will use it for the text you need.

The Yomi editor: a comic page on the left with its speech bubbles outlined as editable text boxes, a formatting toolbar above, and a list of the page's text regions on the right.

Your work stays yours.

Your art stays on your device.

The originals live in your browser, in storage you control. There is no gallery of your pages on our servers, because we never upload them.

We keep the words, never the pictures.

The only thing saved is text and where it sits on the page. That's what lets you come back and keep editing. Your artwork is never written to our database.

The finished files are yours.

Full resolution, no watermark, no strings. Nothing about your comic is locked to this platform, including the ability to walk away from it.

How your work stays yours

Dozens of languages, properly lettered.

Every one of these is set in a typeface we've verified can draw it — including the Han locales, which each get their own face rather than a shared approximation.
